I have been to 18 Buffet and the food was good. The variety is more in salads and less in the main courses. But for AED 18 per person and looking at the location, the deal is a bit steep.

A question to the management - your offer for 20 Vouchers @ AED 360 is a with the Neo Ellipse is bit far fetched. The claim of the Neo Ellipse being priced @ AED 495 is incorrect and untrue.

There is a simultaneous offer from CITYMYWAY to buy the Neo 808i and Ellipse @ AED 195. That is 2 phones for AED 195.

Regarding the price for 18 Buffet, the management has posted a reply:

"We offer more than 18 dishes for 18 Dirhams. This includes 2 kebab items, a non-veg curry dish, chicken biryani, chilli chicken, noodles, fried rice, veg curry item, dal, dessert and a salad bar which has over 10 different kinds of salads. In our opinion, we haven't found any other restaurant offering the same value (number of dishes including UNLIMITED grill items) in Dubai. If you know of any such place we will be more than happy to lower the price."

Coming to the comments from 18 Buffet, duly noted and partially agree with them. I have been there once and I liked the food.

But, the "10 different Salads" are pointless as I had visited the restaurant with the view of consuming kebabs and tikkas more.

As for their management's comment - they have sadly misunderstood the comment as an indication for price reduction. Where as my comment was for reduction of the salad items to 1 or 2 and increasing the variety in Nonveg and Veg - Kebabs, Tikkas, Curries and desserts.

i went for dinner with two of my friends last Thursday and they said "buffet" was only for lunch...since we couldn't go to another place as we had less time, we decided to dine there and ended up paying more for just 4 items !!
a buffet for 3 would have cost us 54 dhs but we ended up paying 71 dhs for 4 items : Hakka noodles, butter chicken, Afghani tikka and mutton kebab.
surely buffet would have been more satisfying..to the eyes, appetite and wallet..
so pls don't just say 18 items for 18 dhs ..do mention "LUNCH ONLY". The advertisement was misleading.
And lastly, food was average..

Hi Citymyway.......I have an account, redeemed 5 points for a voucher of 18 Buffet and been there 2 weeks back. I would like to go there again. AED 18 for a meal for 2 is reasonable enough tho would be better if the the price covered a bottle of water or 2 Cokes.

Question is - I now have 350 points in my account. But the voucher cannot be redeemed again. So, do I create a new account? And what do I do with the 350 points in my account? Do advise please.
